Garageband + SHURE mic + MBOX + MIDI keyboard. I'm sure ProTools would be better, but I aint got that money Oh hi, I'm Cassie....

Hiya, For producing up my original songs I use, SoundForge or ProTools LE7 which came with my M-BOX2 Sound Card, plus a midi keyboard, and SURE microphones. I also use Reason 3 and Acid Pro 5 for creating all my drums, bass, and sequencing sounds - great and affordable programs!! www.vanessahoffman.com/

I use Audacity and Cool Edit pro. They're simple.

I use Cool Edit Pro 2.1 as well. For some reason my recordings are really soft. Also, when I play them back they only play through one of my speakers. The other speaker has just a fuzz sound, probably from the preamp, which is MobilePre. How can I produce quality recordings that will play back in both speakers and avoid the preamp fuzz?
