Hi, I asked this same question on another forum but I didn't seem to have much luck with any answers. I've been wondering about if I should try one or not for the longest. Right now I'm just trying to work on a simple demo and getting my voice right. Unfortunately I don't know...well... I mean I can't afford to get time in a studio where I live. I have guy that I've been working with who sends me songs to record over but my problem is I don't really have the recording type of set up so my voice always comes out "bouncy" and "echoey (if that's even a word)". I'm not using anything that special to record my voice just an old recording program that was easy enough for me to figure out and my Shure microphone I got for Christmas. I figured having at least something to cover my mic would help me out. Putting foam on my walls is out the question as I live in an apartment at the moment. I've been browsing on ebay for what I can afford and I'm trying to win a used SE filter thing but I always get outbid I also saw this AE-F thing www.soundkitz.com/reflectionfilter.htm which also looked good and was cheap. I just want to know if anyone else in the same situation that I am in had went with a reflection filter and if it helped them. oh and btw the music I sing to is pop and r&bish type of rock music.
