When first beginning your singing training, your diaphragm muscle will probably feel like it has to work a great deal to support your tone. Fortunately, all your diaphragm needs is a bit of strengthening and conditioning - just like any other muscle. Once you have developed the necessary diaphragmatic strength concentrate on keeping the diaphragm full of energy, but not full of tension.
